Kuzbass has achieved a significant milestone in vegetable oil production with the development of advanced technology, as reported by the press service of the regional government.
Biointech, based in the city of Jurga, has pioneered an experimental line for “green” alcohol extraction of vegetable oils. This innovative method allows for the production of high-quality oils from various oilseed crops and production residues such as sunflower husks, cake, meal, and phosphatide concentrates. Remarkably, this process operates five times faster than conventional methods, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
According to the press service, the vegetable oil obtained through Kuzbass’ new technology rivals cold-pressed oils in quality. Moreover, the utilization of production waste and reduced energy consumption, facilitated by the equipment’s design features, contributes to a lower overall production cost for the final product.
This technological breakthrough not only improves the economic viability of vegetable oil production in Kuzbass but also underscores the region’s commitment to sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.
