On October 31, the Prague Market (Holešovická tržnice) will come alive for the third annual Día de los Muertos celebration. From 11 a.m. until nearly midnight, attendees can enjoy a lively festival filled with vibrant colors, sounds, and flavors from Mexico.

Taste Authentic Mexican Cuisine

The festival’s outdoor Gastro Zone will be the highlight, featuring authentic Mexican cuisine. Visitors can savor popular street foods like tacos, churros, and burritos. A special treat, pan de muerto, will be available, served alongside rich hot chocolate—a traditional favorite during Día de los Muertos.

Explore the Craft Market

Inside Hall 13, a market will showcase a variety of Mexican products and crafts. From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests can participate in hands-on activities such as mask-making, face painting with Mexican designs, and crafting flower crowns and headdresses. This craft zone offers a fun way for families to engage with Mexican traditions and celebrate the holiday.

The festival will feature lively performances by Mariachi Azteca de Praga, taking place at the Mexican pop-up and in Hall 13. DJ Gadjo will also spin tracks throughout the day, ensuring a festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
