Rasoi Fine Indian Cuisine has been a beloved destination for Surrey food lovers for over 10 years. Uday Singh, the restaurant’s dedicated owner, remains motivated by a straightforward philosophy: continue serving delicious traditional and modern Indian dishes that keep customers coming back.
“Our goal is to maintain the quality of our dishes and make sure everyone who visits Rasoi leaves satisfied,” Singh explains.
From Employee to Owner
Before taking ownership, Singh worked at Rasoi for two years as an employee. “We bought the restaurant in 2022, and since then, it’s been a journey of passion and commitment to delivering great food,” Singh says. With more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen, his culinary expertise and dedication are evident in every dish.
This January marks the third anniversary of Singh’s full ownership, a milestone he is excited to share with Rasoi’s loyal clientele.
Crafting an Authentic Indian Experience
At Rasoi’s core is its thoughtfully curated menu, offering a wide range of Indian delicacies, from creamy butter chicken to spicy lamb vindaloo. There’s something for every palate, including tender tandoori meats and flavorful vegetarian curries. Singh emphasizes the importance of using only the freshest ingredients, noting that “all our curries are made with fresh ingredients.”
Signature dishes include popular choices like Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tandoori, Lamb Korma, and Karahi Prawn. Singh’s mission is simple: “Good food makes people happy and healthy. That’s why I love what I do.”

Rasoi has become a favorite for many in the diverse Surrey community. “The response from the community has been incredible,” Singh says. “People love our food and return because they know they’ll always leave satisfied.”
Open for lunch and dinner daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Rasoi offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. Singh and his team work tirelessly in the kitchen to maintain the high standards they’ve set. “Every day is about cooking, prepping, and perfecting dishes for our guests to enjoy.”
