Nite Kong, a distinguished venue in Rome, introduces MidNite Chef, a sophisticated series that pairs world-class food with expertly crafted cocktails. Patrick Pistolesi, alongside his team, invites five renowned chefs to create a memorable dining experience over five exclusive evenings. The event promises an immersive culinary journey, combining top-tier food and drinks in a beautifully intimate atmosphere.
The Event Format
MidNite Chef brings together Michelin-starred chefs and talented mixologists to deliver a unique fusion of haute cuisine and mixology artistry. The series takes place in Nite Kong’s stylish setting, with the atmosphere enhanced by live music or curated DJ sets. Guests can expect a sensory dining experience featuring signature mini dishes paired with cocktails that reflect the creativity and passion of both chefs and bartenders.
Event Schedule
The first official event of MidNite Chef will kick off on Thursday, March 6, with Chef Koji Nakai from Nakai, a celebrated restaurant in Rome. DJ Giorgio Gigli will provide the evening’s soundtrack as Nakai presents a special menu inspired by Japan. The event will explore the essence of Japanese culture through Pistolesi’s cocktail creations.
On Thursday, April 3, Chef Fabio Verrelli D’Amico of Mater1apr1ma (1 Michelin star) in Pontinia will take the spotlight. Known for his dedication to sustainable agriculture, D’Amico will bring a fresh approach to enhancing the flavors of local produce.
Two final events will be held in May and June, with Francesco Apreda (Idylio by Apreda, 1 Michelin star) in May, followed by Anthony Genovese (Il Pagliaccio, 2 Michelin stars) in June. Apreda will showcase his signature fusion cuisine, while Genovese’s precision and passion will define the grand finale.
Each event will feature a three-course menu, an amuse-bouche, and three custom cocktails, all for €90 per person. Every night will be accompanied by live jazz or a DJ set.
