R+M Dessert Bar is set to open a new flagship location in Bellevue, Washington. The new establishment will be situated at 1025 108th Ave NE and aims to provide a distinctive dessert experience to its patrons. This location marks an expansion of the original R+M Dessert Bar, which was founded in Capitol Hill by chefs Rod Gambassi and Marc Adams in November 2017.

The Bellevue site will feature several new offerings:
Takeaway Boutique: Customers will be able to purchase desserts and wines to go, including R+M Signature packaged items such as cookies, granolas, gourmet nuts, and snack mixes.
Dine-In Experience: The venue will accommodate 20 guests for in-house dining. The menu will include R+M’s FOUR Dessert Experiences, Afternoon Tea, and a specially curated chef’s menu.
Private Dining/Lounge Area: Available for groups of six or more, this space will offer a more intimate setting for special occasions.
Chef Rod Gambassi commented on the new location, saying, “We searched extensively for a space that would allow us to continue creating our desserts while also offering a comfortable seating area for our guests to enjoy our diverse menus and experiences.”
Inspiration and Vision
Chef Marc Adams shared insights into the vision behind R+M Dessert Bar: “During our travels to other cities and countries, we observed a lack of dessert bars in the Pacific Northwest. Drawing on our extensive culinary and business experience, we created R+M as a unique offering for this region.”
The Capitol Hill location remains a neighborhood favorite, known for its hand-crafted desserts and a rotating menu of gourmet items. The new Bellevue location is designed to build on this success by providing an enhanced dining experience with improved parking facilities.
Chef Adams added, “Our Bellevue location will serve as our flagship restaurant, offering guests an even richer experience. With ample on-site and street parking, and a focus on creating innovative dessert experiences, we are excited to welcome visitors to our new space.”
Opening Details
R+M Dessert Bar’s Bellevue location is scheduled to open in early 2025. The new site will introduce late-night hours, starting at 5 pm, adding a new option for dessert enthusiasts in the city.
