Introduction of Cultural Cuisine Initiative
The Office of Multicultural Student Success (OMSS) has teamed up with the Global Latin Student Union (GLSU) and Dining Services to launch a new program called Cultural Cuisine. This initiative aims to celebrate and honor the rich cultural diversity on campus through special dining experiences.
Monthly Heritage-Inspired Menus
The Cultural Cuisine program will feature monthly menus inspired by different history and heritage observances. The first of these will highlight Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs through Tuesday, October 15.
This initiative recognizes the important role that food plays in reflecting and preserving cultural identities. As part of this program, campus dining will offer a variety of Hispanic-inspired dishes at several themed stations during the events.
