Rustika Cafe and Bakery Set to Open This Fall
A new cafe and bakery is set to open soon in Clovis, bringing a taste of international cuisine to local residents. Rustika Cafe and Bakery will open its doors this October at the Clovis Commons Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Herndon and Willow.
Diverse Menu Featuring Global Delights
Owned by Navdip Singh, the cafe will showcase a variety of global flavors. Diners can look forward to enjoying French pastries, Italian icings, and dishes inspired by Mexican and Argentinian cuisines, among others.
Singh has partnered with Marco Reznick, whose mother founded the original Rustika in Texas in 1994. After spending 15 years as an engineer in the Bay Area, Singh discovered his passion for entrepreneurship and decided to introduce the Rustika brand to California, where he and his family now reside.
A Taste of Texas in Clovis
While Rustika Cafe and Bakery currently operates solely in Texas with three locations, Singh saw an opportunity to bring its unique menu to Clovis. The cafe’s Instagram account, @rustikacafe, offers a sneak peek of the delicious items to come, featuring treats like white chocolate raspberry cake, chilaquiles, and dulce de leche alfajores—traditional Argentinian sandwich cookies.
Custom Cakes for Special Occasions
In addition to its diverse menu, the cafe specializes in custom cake designs for various events. Whether it’s a three-tiered cake for a 40th birthday or a beautiful wedding cake, Rustika aims to provide a personalized touch. Their Instagram showcases intricate designs, including a towering three-tier cake with photos and a classic Chocolate Fudge cake for everyday enjoyment.
