Experienced Chef Takes the Helm of The Beach House Mediterranean Restaurant
Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort has announced the appointment of Jorge Badillo as the new chef de cuisine for its renowned Mediterranean restaurant, The Beach House.
Badillo, who brings 14 years of global culinary experience to the role, will oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s operations and menu. His career includes leadership roles at some of the world’s top kitchens, further cementing his reputation as an expert in the culinary field.
A Proven Leader in the Culinary World
Before joining Anantara Mina Al Arab, Chef Badillo served as executive chef at Catch Brasserie in Jeddah, where he managed two outlets and led a team of 45 kitchen staff. Reflecting on his new role, Chef Badillo expressed his excitement about the opportunity to contribute to the resort’s success.

Badillo’s Culinary Journey
Badillo’s career began after he graduated from Mexico’s Colegio Superior de Gastronomía in 2012. He started as a chef at the fine-dining Sesame Restaurant before taking his first chef de cuisine position at 900 Novecento Polanco in Mexico.
In 2014, Badillo moved to Dubai, where he served as sous chef at La Tablita at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights. His journey continued as he worked in China and later took on the role of head chef at Ganea Kitchen Fairy Tales Brasserie in Guangzhou in 2022. Afterward, he relocated to Saudi Arabia, further enhancing his diverse experience in international culinary settings.
Resort Director Welcomes Badillo to the Team
