Celebrating a Prestigious Achievement
Bombay Cuisine, a popular Indian takeaway on Whittaker Lane, has won the prestigious National Takeaway of the Year Award at the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (ARTA). The awards ceremony took place at The Royal Lancaster London on Sunday, October 6.
This honor recognizes the hard work and dedication of the owner and staff, who have contributed to the restaurant’s success. Owner and head chef Ali, with over 30 years of experience in the food industry, expressed his pride in receiving this award. “I am extremely proud of this huge achievement. I also want to express my sincere thanks to all of my customers who have supported me through the years,” he said.
A Legacy of Quality and Community
Since its opening nine years ago, Bombay Cuisine has served the people of Manchester with exceptional Indian food, creating memorable dining experiences for thousands. The restaurant team is grateful to their loyal customers, many of whom have been with them since their previous location on Bury New Road, where they operated for 20 years.
Bombay Cuisine values community connections. They had the honor of hosting the former Mayor of Bury at their grand opening ceremony, who left satisfied after enjoying a meal. This award not only celebrates the restaurant’s achievements but also highlights the wonderful relationships built over the years. The team looks forward to continuing to serve the community and hopes to welcome many more customers in the future.
