IrishCentral has proudly joined forces with Good Food Ireland® for their 2024 Awards, a prestigious event that honors the finest in Irish food and hospitality. This partnership highlights a shared dedication to promoting local producers, talented chefs, and culinary innovators who showcase the rich and diverse flavors of Ireland’s food heritage.
Celebrating Irish Culinary Excellence
Good Food Ireland® was founded in 2006 by Margaret Jeffares from her farm in County Wexford. Today, it has become a recognized trustmark for authentic local food and drink experiences throughout the island of Ireland. The initiative connects people who are committed to offering exceptional culinary experiences rooted in local Irish produce and traditions.
Every business that is part of the Good Food Ireland® Collection embodies the values of supporting local food and drink, and the awards serve to recognize their dedication. From farms and food manufacturers to restaurants, hotels, and tourism experiences, the Good Food Ireland® Awards celebrate businesses at all levels of Ireland’s food and drink industry.
Recognizing Excellence Across the Industry
The 2024 Good Food Ireland® Awards will take place on Monday, November 11, at The K Club Hotel in County Kildare. The event will feature a luxurious five-star dinner that showcases Ireland’s finest produce, with the winners being announced during the evening. These awards are significant as they recognize the hard work of those who set the standard for Irish food and drink, from primary producers and chefs to tourism experiences and retailers.
IrishCentral’s Continued Partnership
For the second consecutive year, IrishCentral is honored to be the official media partner for the Good Food Ireland® Awards.
“We are immensely proud to partner with Good Food Ireland for their prestigious awards,” said Michelle Hanley, Head of Partnerships at IrishCentral. “This collaboration celebrates the very best of Irish food, culture, and sustainability. We are honored to support such a meaningful event that showcases the heart of Ireland’s culinary excellence and dedication to local producers.”
Last Year’s Event Highlights
In 2023, the awards were also held at The K Club in County Kildare and were attended by over 300 guests, including chefs, food writers, and industry leaders. Simon Coveney, T.D., Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment, served as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony, adding to the significance of the event.
As the Good Food Ireland® Awards continue to grow in prestige, the partnership with IrishCentral serves to highlight the importance of celebrating Ireland’s food heritage and the incredible people behind it.
