Cooking Workshops Across Normandy
From October 26 to November 10, 2024, Normandy will celebrate its culinary heritage with over 100 cooking workshops. These events will take place throughout the region, showcasing local ingredients and techniques.
Focus on Local Produce
The initiative aims to connect amateur cooks with local products in a friendly atmosphere. Various organizations, including farms, restaurants, associations, and local governments, are participating to offer these unique experiences.
Special Workshop in Val-au-Perche
In Val-au-Perche, a special workshop dedicated to cucurbits will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The workshop will run from 2 PM to 5 PM.
Martine Georget, the deputy for school catering in the municipality, emphasized the event’s goal: “We want to highlight the skills of our school catering staff and our local products.” This workshop is part of the broader effort supported by the Normandy region to promote its culinary traditions.
