A Celebration of Local Ingredients and Sustainability
Tied to California Restaurant Month, the Swell Plates Series features exclusive dishes that showcase the flavors of Oceanside. Chefs incorporate fresh seafood sourced from the Fishermen’s Market, locally grown produce, and sustainable ingredients to create unique, artfully crafted plates.
Look for the “O’side Season of Swellness” logo on menus at participating restaurants, which include Michelin-starred Valle, Dija Mara, The Plot, 24 Suns, and more. These top venues are all embracing the region’s bounty and commitment to sustainability.

Among the standout offerings, 24 Suns presents their Transformative Currents-inspired dish, served in an abalone shell with rice noodles, black abalone, smoked vegetable mole, and sustainable bycatch sausage. allmine offers a refreshing burrata salad featuring organic greens, winter vegetables, and a botanical herb dressing that celebrates local agriculture.
At Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub, Chef Davin Waite’s “Living” Fisherman’s Special uses fresh catches from the Oceanside Fishermen’s Market, emphasizing the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability.
