The van will be serving its artistic dessert creations across Ipswich and nearby areas from 5 pm to 9 pm, with specific locations confirmed at the time.
Owner Martin Webber, who resides in Colchester, shared his excitement and nerves about this new chapter: “I’m really excited and scared at the same time, it’s a new adventure.”
From Clacton to Ipswich: A Growing Business
Whip It Like Webber’s growth has been notable, with the business already gaining attention in Clacton and Colchester. With a strong local following, the dessert van venture has proven to be a hit with dessert lovers. Martin expressed his pride in the business, noting, “I take so much pride in my work, the desserts are like artwork to me, and people know us already.”
The company has established a base in Grundisburgh and now operates with eight vans, making it easier to serve areas like Ipswich, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, and Woodbridge. The expansion to Ipswich is seen as the next natural step for the growing brand.

Last year, Whip It Like Webber participated in 120 shows, gaining considerable exposure. Looking ahead, Martin is optimistic about further success: “If this works in Ipswich, this will be big for us.”
The company has been in business for ten years, and its continuous expansion is a testament to its popularity. Martin emphasized the dedication and effort that goes into running the business, adding, “So much time and effort goes into it, and it just keeps expanding every year.”
