The 15-day Himachal Pradesh Him Mahotsav, a grand event honoring the state’s cultural heritage, crafts, and cuisine, came to a close on Monday evening at Dilli Haat in New Delhi. The festival successfully highlighted Himachal’s artistic legacy and contributed significantly to the local economy, with artisans securing over Rs 2 crore in business.

A Platform for Artisans and Cultural Preservation

The Him Mahotsav provided a platform for Himachali artisans to showcase their work to a wider audience, supporting both economic growth and the preservation of cultural traditions. The festival featured 60 stalls displaying an array of handcrafted products such as woollen shawls, Chamba rumals, Kangra paintings, and traditional jewellery.
