A new dining destination is set to open this summer in Houston’s River Oaks area. Mayahuel, a Mexico City-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar, will be located at the Autry Park development near Buffalo Bayou Park.
What to Expect from Mayahuel
The upcoming restaurant is being launched by Culinary Khancepts, a well-known hospitality company. Although details about the restaurant’s website are not yet available, the concept promises to be an exciting addition to the Houston dining scene.
Named after the Aztec goddess of agave, Mayahuel will focus on celebrating Mexican culture, culinary excellence, and the rich tradition of agave spirits. The menu will feature a wide range of authentic Mexican flavors, including street food and upscale dining options from various regions of the country.
The Location
Autry Park, which is home to other popular dining spots like Annabelle Brasserie and Bar Doko, is located on Allen Parkway in the River Oaks area. Mayahuel will join these dining venues, further enhancing the area’s appeal.
Opening Details
Mayahuel is set to open in the summer of 2025 at 811 Buffalo Park Drive, Ste. 130, Houston.
