When it comes to desserts, we all know some dishes just taste better at restaurants—think molten cake, key lime pie, and New York cheesecake. However, restaurant desserts often come with hefty price tags, with a slice of cake or pie nearing $10. For those looking to satisfy a sweet tooth without breaking the bank, Costco Bakery has always been a reliable option, offering bulk desserts that are both affordable and delicious.
Among its latest offerings is a dessert that has captured the attention of Costco fans everywhere.
Costco’s Massive Tub of Tiramisu
A recent post on Instagram highlighted a new addition to Costco’s bakery: an “absurdly huge tub of perfection” filled with tiramisu. The fan who shared the discovery claims that the tiramisu is so good, it’s nearly impossible to stop eating once you start. In fact, she believes this version of tiramisu could “completely ruin fancy tiramisu for you.”
Other Costco fans were quick to agree. One commented that it’s a “dangerous buy” because they wouldn’t be able to “put my spoon away,” while another described it as a “great value and very tasty.”
Limited Availability: U.S. Fans Left Waiting
While the tiramisu has sparked excitement, it seems that this large tub of dessert is currently only available at Costco locations in Canada. Despite an online search, no similar product has been found in the U.S., where Costco members can only find smaller portions of tiramisu.
However, there’s good news for U.S. dessert lovers. Some fans pointed out that Sam’s Club offers a similar 2-pound tub of tiramisu. Members have called it “fire” and strongly recommend giving it a try.
While we wait and hope for Costco’s tiramisu to make its way to local U.S. stores, there are still other dessert options available to satisfy your sweet cravings.
