A fresh dining experience has arrived at The Commons at Unity Park in Greenville with the opening of Paseo, a Spanish tapas restaurant located in Phase II of the food hall.
Paseo is the brainchild of Daniel López and Camilo Franco, two passionate friends who share a love for Spanish cuisine. Their journey began with Sunday dinners, where they discovered their shared talent for cooking and how food could bring their families closer. The success of their dinners eventually inspired them to open their own restaurant, aiming to create a space where people can come together over flavorful Spanish dishes.
“We are excited to bring a piece of Spain to Greenville,” said López, co-owner of Paseo. “Our goal is to offer guests a genuine Spanish dining experience, where they can enjoy traditional tapas in a warm, inviting atmosphere. We believe in the power of food to bring people together, and Paseo reflects that vision.”

Paseo’s menu features a delightful mix of classic Spanish tapas such as patatas bravas and gambas al ajillo, alongside more contemporary dishes inspired by regional Spanish flavors. The restaurant places a strong emphasis on using high-quality ingredients to ensure each dish reflects the diverse and rich flavors of Spain.

Dining at Paseo
The restaurant features a contemporary design, with an inviting bar area and an open kitchen that allows guests to watch as their meals are prepared. Paseo’s hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
