Bruschetta Fine Italian Cuisine, a well-loved local Italian restaurant, is gearing up to reopen in Sarasota at a new address. After previously operating at 6538 Gateway Avenue, the restaurant is moving to a fresh spot at 2661 Mall Drive.
A Taste of Italy: The Menu
At its former location, Bruschetta offered a variety of Italian favorites. Appetizers included dishes like Gamberi e Gorgonzola, which featured sautéed shrimp in a light Gorgonzola sauce, and Calamari Fritti. The restaurant’s signature bruschettas were popular, with options such as:
Classica: Olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella
Salamino: Marinara sauce, Parmesan, mozzarella, and pepperoni
Gamberi e Pesto: Fresh shrimp, pesto sauce, and fresh tomatoes
For main courses, guests enjoyed entrées like Pollo Milanese, which featured fried chicken served with arugula, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and lemon, as well as Salmone Livornese, a dish with olives, capers, onions in marinara sauce, accompanied by spaghetti.
Waiting for the Opening Date
What Now reached out to the restaurant’s owner, Marco Delzetti, to inquire about the reopening timeline. Delzetti confirmed that the exact opening date is still unknown.
We are awaiting further details from Delzetti, including the expected reopening timeline and any potential updates to the restaurant’s menu.
