Chick-fil-A Announces New Newark Restaurant

by Ella

Chick-fil-A is opening its newest location in Newark, Delaware, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, bringing a fresh dining option to the local community. Luke Trader will serve as the local Owner-Operator of the restaurant, which is expected to provide approximately 125 jobs to the area. To kick off the grand opening, the restaurant is hosting a special celebration with a fun twist: Cows eat free on opening day!

Cow Attire for Free Entrees

In celebration of the new restaurant, Trader and his team are inviting the community to dress in cow-themed attire. Guests who come dressed in cow spots—whether in full cow suits or simple cow accessories—can redeem a free entrée on the opening day, either inside the restaurant or through the drive-thru. This special offer brings the iconic Chick-fil-A cows, frequently seen in commercials and on billboards, to life in a fun and interactive way.

The opening day celebration will take place on April 2, and the free entrée offer is available with no purchase necessary. Some of the menu options include:

This is a one-time offer per person, and the promotion is available while supplies last.

The restaurant will serve the community Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering, and Mobile Thru options for convenience.
