City Roots Hospitality and restaurateur Guy Vaknin plan to open Reverie, a vegan dessert and cocktail bar, in Williamsburg, New York City, in May.
The new location is scheduled to open in Brooklyn, New York, on May 14, a spokesperson said. City Roots also owns Beyond Sushi, Willow, Coletta, Anixi, Sentir and Le Basque.
The menu, designed by executive pastry chef Makenna Hale, will feature desserts and savory appetizers.
Planned dishes include signature desserts that mimic natural elements, such as the “Rainbow Dessert,” which features fruits, flowers and ingredients such as rosewater meringue and purple potato shortbread. To balance the menu, Reverie will offer a range of appetizers and small bites to complement the desserts.
“Our vision is to elevate desserts beyond expectations, heightening the sensory experience and making every bite a surprise,” Vaknin and Hale said in a statement. “We are redefining dessert—artistic, immersive, and memorable.”
Designed by Studio RB, the restaurant uses natural materials and also offers private dining and full space rentals.
